Our Story
Our company was established in 1998 by Donovan Jerome Moyce as DJ Roofing and Waterproofing CC. Because we expanded our service offering into doing building works as well, we decided to rebrand the company.
The previous company, DJ Roofing and Waterproofing CC was in operation for 21 years and operated in the construction industry, undertaking building renovations and building works as well as roof construction and waterproofing. In order to formalise our service offering we have decided on a name change, DJM Roofing and Building Contractors (PTY) Ltd. Donovan, the owner and director, has been in the building and roofing industry for over 35 years.
Donovan founded DJ Roofing and Waterproofing CC in 1998 and this company that specialised in industrial, commercial and domestic roofing solutions. Donovan obtained his roofing tradesmanship in 1984 while working for a prestigious roofing company in Cape Town. DJM Roofing and BuildingContractors (PTY) Ltd is being established in 2020 in order to communicate to our target market that we undertake building as well as roofing construction.
We built our brand on quality work. Our approach to our clients is that of reliability, follow through and affordable prices. We understand that quality, reliability and affordability are important to our clients and will not neglect to deliver top quality work. Donovan believes in a relational business model and relies on his customers to be his company’s greatest promoters.
We have built good and longstanding relationships with building contractors, housing developers, project managers, engineering firms, architects, business owners and homeowners. DJM Roofing and Building Contractors (PTY) Ltd will continue to deliver exceptional services to the building industry.
Projects completed include new roofs fitted to shopping malls, factories, warehouses, housing developments and domestic homes.
